Miss Row Fifth
The sole Canterbury representative at the national girls’ table tennis Coaching school at Palmerston North recently, Miss M. Row (Linwood), was ranked fifth.
Unfortunately three of the top girls were unable to attend because of the rail strike. Replacements had to be found at short notice to keep the number at 12. The top four girls at the end of the school were Misses C. Borch (Marlborough), J. Cooper (Manawatu), A. Johnson (Bay of Plenty) and H. Nicholson (Auckland).
