STORING WOOL
Invercargill ‘Hazard’ 4 (N.Z. Prtaa Auoelationf INVERCARGILL, May 18. The Invercargill Fire Board has expressed concern at the fire board’s hazard caused by the storing by the Wool Commission of about 100,000 bales of wool to and around the city. The chief fir* officer (Mr C. C. Officer) told tola afternoon’s board meeting ha had obtained a Hit of the ptaces where the wort was being stored. “There is a definite fire hazard.” he said. Mr Officer aafd he now had a fun foolscap sheet of paper listing the places where the wort was stored. He said the problem was that the commission was storing wort in a “terrible lot of small amounts."
