Irish Have 19-5 Win

(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) MELBOURNE. Ireland proved too strong, fast and skilful for Victoria in their Rugby match on Saturday, but had to contend with some fierce tackling before winning, 19-5. The Irish back-line carved holes in the Victorian defence at times and the fleet-footed wing, A. Duggan, scored three great tries, but the score would have been much higher except for the rugged defence of the home team. Other scorers for Ireland were T. Kiernan (two conversions and a penalty goal) and C. M. Gibson (field goal). For Victoria, P. Hone scored a try, which P. Bolton converted.
