Presentations To Kiwis
Before the start of the main game at the Show Grounds on Saturday, Mr D. C. Wilson, chairman of the Canterbury Rugby League Board of Control, made presentations to the Canterbury players who will tour Australia with the New Zealand team. The two players, R. S. J. Irvine (Marist) and W. P. Noonan (Linwood) were introduced to the crowd, along with the team coach, Mr D. L. Blanchard.
Breaking Up.—Central African Airways, jointly-owned by Zambia, Rhodesia and Malawi, will break up by the end of August this year, the Zambian Transport Minister, Mr Solomon Kalulu announced.— Lusaka, May 19.
