WELLINGTON, May 21
Thieves stole a silver altar cross, vestments, banners and a Bible from St. Michael’s Anglican Church in Kelburn at the week-end. A Wellington C. 1.8. spokesman said tonight that the thefts occurred between 10.20 p.m. on Friday and 12.30 p.m. on Saturday. The church was not damaged.
