Key Man
A key man in the running of the 14th World Ploughing Contest and the New Zealand ploughing championships this week will be Mr G. (George) McPherson, of the Atlantic Union Oil Company. He will be looking after servicing and refuelling arrangements for competitors’ tractors in the New Zealand championships and the world contest Mr McPherson is well known to match ploughmen, having been associated with the national contests since the first at Papakaio in 1956.
