World Ploughing Contest
Sir, —The organisers of the World Ploughing Championships, in their extensive advertising campaign, appear to be avoiding the publication of admission charges. Why is this? In the interests of a man wishing to attend with his family, could they not come out into the open and let us know? —Yours, etc., INTERESTED.
May & 1967. [The secretary of the organising committee for the world ploughing contest, Mr C. N. Todd, said that the admission charge to the contest ground would be 5s on Thursday and 6s on Friday and Saturday. Concession tickets for the three days cost 15s. There would be no charge for children under 12, and there would be no charge for cars.]
