A house converted into two self-contained flats on a section of 39.2 perches at 48 Winchester street, Merivale, was sold for £5200 at public auction yesterday. The property was offered on account of the estate of V. J. Stevens by Ford and Hadfield, Ltd. The auctioneer was Mr D. Chapman. One flat is vacant, and the other furnished flat is let at £7 a week.
