Four Premises Burgled

Two Christchurch homes were broken into on Sunday night, 10s being taken from a handbag in a bedroom of a house in Heywood terrace. Nothing was taken from a house in Templar street . A builder’s shed on a construction site in Blenheim road owned by the General Food Corporation was also broken into, and £2 2s was taken. The Christchurch Bowling Club’s premises in Worcester street were also broken into on Sunday night, but nothing has been reported as being taken.

Boy Missing.—Michael Martin McKinley, aged 13, has been missing from his home at Rapaki since Friday. The boy is partly Maori, and is sft 3in in height. Any one who knows where he is is asked to get in touch with the police.
