EVENTFUL RACE.—The first fence in the home straight put two fancied runners out of the race in the Capital Steeplechase at Trentham. TOP: Linred down on his nose on landing over this fence with about 11 furlongs to run. BOTTOM: M. J. O’Connor, rider of the winner, Aorangi, has a quick glance behind at the fallen Chesterman at the last fence. Aorangi was left well clear when Chesterman came down, and won by 10 lengths.
