BANDON LAME
Bandon was lame after the Gloaming Stakes at Trentham on Saturday, and it was found that he had cracked his near fore cannon bone.
Fremont, which also pulled up lame, was found to have injured a ligament in a foreleg. Court Belle hit the running rail when attempting to improve on the inside near the half-mile and injured a stifle.
There was no evidence to show that any other rider was to blame. It was reported. Scramble stumbled near the three furlongs in the Wadestown Handicap. He was racing inside Wavering and Dunraven. It was found that the incident was not caused by any other horse or rider. The film showed Scramble racing close to the rail.
