Christchurch, Linwood Only Unbeaten Teams
Christchurch and Linwood remained the only unbeaten teams in the senior Rugby championship after the fourth round on Saturday.
Linwood beat Old Boys in a rousing match at Rugby Park but Christchurch had a narrow escape against an enterprising University B team at Lancaster Park and won 9-5.
Suburbs lost its first match when it was decisively outplayed by a superb New Brighton pack which controlled play throughout the game. At Dam, University A showed better form by beating Merivale-Papanui 27-11 and Sydenham scored its first win when it beat Belfast 1411. The only team which has not won is Lincoln College.
