NOMINATION
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 5. A sign reading “Piggy Muldoon for King” was on the desk of the Minister of Finance when he walked into the chamber of Parliament this afternoon. Mr Muldoon, apparently surprised and amused by the sign, held it up for fellow members to see. Amid laughter, he was heard to ask: “Who did this?” The slogan had become prominent in Wellington during the last two days while Victoria University students were holding their capping celebrations.
