INTER-CLUB BILLIARDS
Richmond, one of the two previously unbeaten teams, lost its game at the end of the third round of the inter-club billiards competition. Richmond lost, 1-2, to Christchurch Working Men’s Club. R.S.A., the other unbeaten team, beat Woolston I by the same margin. Results:—
R.S.A. (O'Callaghan 200, Kelly 191, Collie 200) beat Woolston I (Martin 146, Diiks 200, Mintrom 168). Kaiapoi (Adams 169, Burney 200, Bayliss 200) beat Post Office (Simons 200, Narbey 88, G. White 170). N.B.W.M.C. (Thomas 156, Hammond 200, Aitken 200) beat Woolston II (Mason 200, Hallam 143, Husband 131). C.W.M.C. (Choat 154, Carson 200. Blackburn 200) beat Richmond (Yesberg 200, Greaves 137, Luke 194).
Breaks: Husband 42, Yesberg 56.
