STAMP CLUB CAMP
Special Post Office
Young stamp collectors at the Spencerville Y.W.C.A. camp on May 12, 13 and 15 will have a Post Office which will issue a special postmark at the camp. This advice was conveyed yesterday to the secretary of the organising body (Mr R. J. Hunt) of the Junior Digest Young Philatelists’ Club, Christchurch.
About 13 speakers will give addresses on topics ranging from post marks to stamp dealing and postal history. Three Post Office officials will give talks on the savings, postal and engineering branches of the Post Office. Among other attractions will be a screening of slide pictures taken at the Whakatane National Stamp exhibition.
