Labour Dept. Appointments
Changes in three senior positions at the Christchurch office of the Department of Labour and Employment were announced yesterday. They include the appointment of Mr A. B. Tuck as district superintendent to replace Mr C. D. McCann, who has been appointed chief inspector of factories in Wellington. Mr M. J. Michael, district officer at Invercargill, has been appointed assistant district superintendent in Christchurch to replace Mr Tuck. Mr Michael will take up the appointment on May 1.
Mr R. G. Church, senior inspector of weights and measures in Christchurch has been appointed to the same position on promotion in Auckland.
His position will be taken by Mr B. McMillan, of Invercargill, who will start in Christchurch in May 15.
