PAINTINGS STOLEN
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 19. Two paintings worth between £9O and £lOO each have been stolen from the guest lounge of the Central Hotel in Auckland. They are originals by John S. Loxton and are the personal property of Sip Henry Kelliher, chairman of directors of Dominion Breweries, Ltd., owner of the Central Hotel. One painting, “Misty Morning,” is a scene of Reefton. The other, “Yacht Preparations," is a view from the fEhristchurch Yaeht Club;
