Replacing The Fireplace
Tired of that old fireplace? Does it spoil the appearance of the lounge? Is there too much work involved in chopping wood and cleaning the grate every day? The answer for an increasing number of householders today is “yes.”
The last two years have seen big changes in the thinking of householders about the regular open fireplace, and today the trend is towards clean, easy, efficient heating to take its place. The electrical inset fire is a natural substitute with features more suited to the faster pace of modern living.
In keeping with the public demand, several electrical inset fire models have now been produced for the New Zealand market which are ideal for installation
into an existing home and which save the new home builder a considerable amount of ini ial building costs.
Inset fires can be used for almost any requirement, and apart from the normal features of heating efficiency, variable heats, quality finish and the like, particular attention is given to highquality appearance. The old open fireplace was certainly a focal point in the lounge and manufacturers have made every endeavour to substitute this feature in a more refined way.
