Tests To Be Five-Day

England’s five test matches against the West Indies on its Caribbean tour in the 196768 season will be five-day games instead of six-day as played on its last two visits, in 1953-54 and 1959-60. For the first time, the M.C.C. team will fly to the West Indies instead of travelling by sea, and also for the first time the touring players will be able to have Christmas at home. The M.C.C. will leave London for Barbados on December 26, and its first match starts on December 30. The tests will be January 19-24, February 8-13, February 29March 5, March 14-19, March 29-April 3.
