Burglaries At Week-end
Cigarettes, sweets and money, valued at £42 10s 8d were stolen when the Ranita Dairy, 310 Waterloo road, was broken into on Saturday night. The Black Tulip Tearooms at Motukarara, were entered between 1.45 a.m. and 9 a.m. yesterday and property valued at £35 17s 7d stolen. On Friday night, cigarettes, money and a torch, valued at £l9 4s 6d, were stolen from the St. Asaph Service Centre, 144 St. Asaph street. Photographic equipment valued at £7 3s was stolen from the premises of Harold Mason Photography, Ltd., Seaview road, New Brighton, on Friday night Property valued at £26 10s was stolen from a parked car in Bristol street on Saturday night A shopping bag and contents, valued at £7, were stolen from a cycle left outside the Asia Cafe late on Saturday morning. A starting handle, a grey plastic wallet and a driver’s licence, valued at £2 15s, were stolen from .a car parked near the corner of Kilmore and Colombo streets at the week-end.
