Wedding Gowns
Sir, —Your newspaper published an article on the women’s page which caught my attention. Hired “mod” paper wedding gowns may be London fashion, but I sincerely hope New Zealanders stay traditional. Surely it must be a most unromantic girl who hires her wedding gown. Old-fashioned as it may seem, where wedding gowns are concerned, mine will be long, white, and made of cloth, not paper.—Yours, etc.,
TRADITIONAL. April 15, 1967.
