Heavy Initial Losses Seen
(H.t. Press Assn. —Copyright! SYDNEY, April 14. Heavy initial losses on the U.K-Australia container shipping services were forecast yesterday by the chairman and managing director of the P. and O. Line, (Sir Donald Anderson). Addressing a “shipping challenge” forum arranged by the Melbourne Chamber of Commerce, he said container shipping had no magical qualities. •It will not bring about a dream world in which the costs of sea transport are for ever stabilised while the costs of everything else will continue to rise with inflation,” tie said.
