SHAW ADDED TO SQUAD

The chairman of the New Zealand rowing council, Mr L. E. Brooker, confirmed yesterday that G. Shaw, stroke of the Wellington Rowing Club’s national champion eight-oared crew, has been selected for the national squad which is to train for the Canadian Centennial Regatta in August Four of the original squad of 13 have withdrawn. The crew will assemble in Christchurch next Saturday.
