Wholemeal Bread
Sir,—We came to live in Christchurch two years ago, took a bakery firm at its word, and ordered their wholemeal bread, specifying the coarser loaf. My husband, used to the South Canterbury wholemeal loaf, became constipated, so I looked round for another firm. The loaf I had been getting went stale and mouldy quickly and was soft, with only a few flakes of bran in it The loaf I finally located is a true wholemeal loaf, crunchy, and pleasant to the taste, as well as giving roughage.—l am, etc.
