Country Hospitals

Sir, —I support the plea for country hospitals. lam sure that country medical practitioners do not want to leave their districts, but few would find country practice worth while without a hospital in the district If country hospitals are closed, will the doctors have to leave before any action is taken by the Government and hospital boards to maintain medical services in country districts? Surely these services are essential to the economy of New Zealand. —Yours, etc.
