TO RIDE LINRED
"TM Preet'’ Special Service PALMERSTON NORTH. M. J. Dombroski has been engaged to ride Linred throughout the coming jumping season, but the jockey is not certain whether he can fulfil that commitment Dombroski has been notified that he will be required to enter camp for military training next month. Unless an impending appeal Is successful Dombroski may in fact have to end his riding career altogether. Even now Dombroski has difficulty in riding much below 9-10 and Army life would almost certainly result in an increase of weight The offer made by B. A. V. Preston to Dombroski involves riding not only Linred, but an other jumpers in the stable. At present Preston is schooling about 10 horses.
