(N.Z. Press Auociation) TAURANGA, April 12. A top-dressing Fleteher based at Whakatane flew into a power line late yesterday afternoon. The aircraft wm only riightiy damaged and the pilot wm able telly it te a nearby airstrip. The pilot mw the power line looming up in front of Mm and attempted to fly underneath it
The aircraft’s tail fin struck the line and broke a quarteNnlle length off the power line carrying it half a mile.
