Mr Low New Governor (N.Z. Press Auociation) WELLINGTON, April 12. The appointment of Mr A. R. Low as the new Governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand was announced today. Mr Low will succeed Mr Gilbert Wilson, who is to retire on July 20. Mr Low, who is aged 51, has been deputy Governor of
the Reserve Bank for the past five years, and is a wellknown economist
He was educated at Timaru Boys’ High School and Canterbury University.
