Railways Increase Refreshment Prices
(N.Z. Frew Association) WELLINGTON, April 12. Increases of ep to 20 per cent en feed sold in railway refreshment rooms throughout New Zealand came into force on Monday. The Hggest increases are tea, and seep. At all stations, other than Auckland and Wellington, the new charges, with the old ones in parenthesis, are.—Tea Is (lOd), cakes 6d (sd), sandwiches, all types 8d (7d, except ham wMch was pre-
viously 8d). Coffee remains at Is and pies at Is 3d. In the Wellington and Auckland station and road services cafeterias the publie win pay.—Tea lOd (fld), sandwiches 7d (fid), cakes fid (sd), soup is fid (to 3d).
