Visitors Received
A travelling party from the Whangarei Country Women’s Institute, Including 33 members, three husbands and a bus driver, were entertained by the Canterbury Federation of the C.W.L in Christchurch. They were welcomed by the Canterbury president, Mrs G. E. MacLachlan, the vice-presi-dent (Mrs E. J. Melhulsh), the secretary (Mrs E. McKenzie), the minute secretary (Mrs W. Mason), the hospitality hostess and executive member (Mrs H. Louden), and a voluntary organiser (Mrs A. W. Hodgkinson). Christchurch was the final stop-over for the party which had visited the Haast Pass, Queenstown, Dunedin and Mount Cook.
