Burke’s Use Of Issue Funds
Burke’s Caterers, Ltd., Christchurch caterer and hotel owner, will make substantial alterations and improvements to its Majestic Hotel, Palmerston North, from part of the £40,625 it will receive in the one for four issue of 5s shares at 6s 6d, says the company in a letter to shareholders. As announced, funds will also be used to buy five acres of additional land and buildings next to the Bush Inn, Upper Riccarton. A new butchery will also be built at Bishopdale shopping centre.
