LUNAR POGOSTICK.—One of the more bizarre suggestions for transportation on the moon is this gasfilled cylinder-and-piston pogostick. The cabin would be kept stable by gyroscopes and the driver (or pilot?) would use a computer bomb-sight device to aim for touchdown points selected on each preceding bounce.
