BROWN WINS DRAGONS
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Barco Del Oro, skippered by D. St. C. Brown, won the Olympic Dragon Class trials, which finished yesterday off Pakatoa Island. Brown’s crewmen were P. Wade and E. Wells. Wells won a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games crewing for H. O. L. Pederson. Over-all points: Barco Del Oro, 14.7, 1; Amanda (R. Stewart), 23.1, 2; Pieces of Eight (L. Davidson), 24.7, 3; Komutu (R. Stone), 27.7, 4; Aotearoa (D. Green), 55.7, 5.
