Assaulted, Robbed
A 61-year-old man was assaulted and robbed of £1 10s when he was in bed at his home in Fitzgerald avenue early on Friday evening. A number of persons entered his bedroom and punched him about the head. They searched the room, took £1 10s from a trouser pocket and then left the house. Police made a search of the area but the offenders were not found.
Property valued at £l5 was stolen from a house in Gayhurst road on Saturday.
