TO FIGHT PORINA
A three-ton consignment of insecticide far control of porina caterpillar readied Harewood from Australia on Thursday afternoon.
The import of this material was made necessary by the unexpectedly heavy demand this season for insecticides for use against porina.
A spokesman for the importers, Mr F. Gordon, the local representative of Henry York and Company, said-that they had had supplies of the insecticide, which is made in Germany, which should have lasted far the whole season, tat It had been used up in a few weeks, and heaee they tad had to Import these additional (applies froas their company in Aoatralia.
