Sell Instead Of Buy?
The feeling in some quarters is that New Zealand stud cattle breeders and the national economy too would benefit if imports of cattle from .the United Kindom were suspended altogether and efforts made to develop an export trade to Australia.
The feeling is that if New Zealand took this step Australia might be more likely to allow imports from New Zealand. The president of the New Zealand Aberdeen Angus Cattle Breeders’ Association, Mr C. E. Nairn, would not comment on this proposition when the council of the society visited the South Island this week.
