DETENTION AND FINE
Youth Damaged Plumbing (N.Z. Preu Auoeiotlon) AUCKLAND, April «. A youth who damaged lavatory pipes and plumbing early last month while attending a pop concert in Auckland was sentenced today to four months’ periodic (week-end) detention. Neil Alan Sheerin, aged 17, a sewing machine mechanic, appeared for sentence on a charge of wilful damage. He had admitted the charge. Mr C. E. H. Pledger, S.M., also fined him £2O and ordered the payment of £lO 2s Od restitution for the damaged equipment, the property of the Broadcasting Corporation. The Magistrate noted that Sheerin was already on probation for a previous offence.
