BOLD VENTURE MAY WIN AT BEAUMONT

sprinter which races well fresh, could be the hardest to beat In the Molyneux Handicap, second les of the Beaumont Racing Club's T.A.B. double today. Bold Venture has 8-9, which is 71b less than he carried suecessfully in this event last year. Most opposition for Bold Venture may come from the recently promoted hack, Western Gale, which has won two of his last four races.

Gladaub and Grey Satin could be the best of the others.

Gladaub Is one of the most consistent sprinters in the South Island and Grey Satin ran a fair race for third at Biverton at his last start. Golden Diac, Capers and Music Man are fancied in the first leg, the Publicans' Hack Cup. There was light rain in the district yesterday, but it had no affect on the track, which is reported to be in excellent order.
