“The Press" Special Service AUCKLAND. One of the beet prospects at the Stretford Trotting Club’s meeting today looks to be Northern Task, in the Eastern Districts Handleap. The six-year-old gelding, from Te Awamutu, has the outstanding record of four wins and a third from five starts, and he gives every indication of developing into one of the best trotters in the North Island. Golden Sands and Prince Tudor are flrm fancies for the T.A.B. double, which will be run on the Taranaki Trotting Cup and the Midhirst Handicap.
