Course For Women
(N.Z. Prttt Annotation) WELLINGTON, April 7. The Wellington Polytechnic is to conduct special part-time course* for older women wishing to re-enter employment and for those who wish to undergo retraining in certain Held*. Announcing tills, the Minister of Education (Mr Kinsella) described the retraining courses as a “new development in technical institute training.”
He said the Polytechnic would Initially offer 12-week parttime courses for women wishing to take up occupations either as account* clerks, or editorial assistant* and writers.
Mr Kinsella said the new courses would not only serve to test the over-all demand for retraining, but would help to fill vacancies in two specific field*.
