All Grades Improve

WELLINGTON, April 7.

Prices for all grades of New Zealand lamb rose at London’s Smithfield market, this week, according to the weekly report of the N.Z. Meat Producer Board market information service. Prices for the main grade (prime 29 to 361 b) were quoted at Id per pound higher than the previous week to reach 25Jd to 26d per lb. On this basis prices for the main grade are the same as those ruling at the equivalent week last year. The main grade of hoggets (49/561b) sold at 19d per lb and wethers at 18d per lb. Ewes were not quoted. New Zealand G.A.Q. frozen ox hinds sold at 30d per lb. Fores were not quoted. Price Range Quotations for New Zealand lamb were:
