Mr Hartigan Retires

WELLINGTON, April 7. The Assistant General Manager of the State Advances
Corporation, Mr L. M. Haitigan, retired today. Mr Hartigan began Ms Public Service career as a cadet in the Department of Lands and Survey at Christchurch in 1926, and 10 years later transferred to the State Advances Corporation.
After military service overseas, he served with the corporation in Timaru, Christchurch and Wellington.
