RAILWAY TRADES
Support To Action
(N.Z. Press Association)
AUCKLAND, April 7. Members of the Railway Tradesmen's Association were solidly behind the national executive in taking any action necessary to prevent the Government from interfering with the Railway Tribunal’s decision to grant 6d per hour to industrial tradesmen, the national president, Mr D. A. Crosado, said in Auckland today.
“Exceptionally well-attend-ed meetings of most of our branches have been addressed by me in the past fortnight on the implications of Government’s action,” said Mr Crosado.
Without exception, unanimous resolutions were passed pledging full support, he said.
