Jamaican P.M. Knighted
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) MONTREAL, April 7. The Prime Minister of Jamaica, Mr Donald Sangster, who is near death in a Montreal hospital, was knighted by the Queen yesterday, Mr Hector Wynter, the Minister of State in the Jamaican Education Ministry said today. Mr Wynter said that the Prime Minister was to have been knighted in June but the honour was advanced because it is unlikely that he will survive a brain hemorrhage he suffered more than two weeks ago.
