Top Viola Post
(From Out London Cprrespdt J Mr Glynne Adams, formerly of the N.ZB.C. Symphony Orchestra, has been appointed to the permanent position of principal viola in the London Symphony Orchestra after two months as guest leader of the viola section.
This is one of the top orchestral positions available in the world to a viola player.
The only other New Zealand musician in the orchestra is Mr Alex Lindsay, a principal second violin.
TV THEME The students’ revue this year, entitled “Clown and Around,” will .have a television theme.
