FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT Situation.—An anti-cyclone centred in the Tasman Sea is moving slowly eastwards on to the country. Forecast: Nelson, Central Marlborough, Buller, Westland and Canterbury.—Moderate variable winds; fine weather; temperatures higher than yesterday. Marlborough Sounds and Kaikoura Coast.— Southerlies fresh at first in exposed areas but decreasing slowly; partly cloudy and cool. Outlook: Mainly fine. CHRISTCHURCH READINGS
