Work Of A.A. Patrols
In February, patrols of the Automobile Association (Canterbury) travelled 13,222 miles and assisted 200 can. Forty-two signs were erected and 25 cars were shipped, the association’s council was told on Thursday evening. The vehicle inspecting officers checked 259 cars and made four partial inspections. The council decided that a new utility vehicle should be bought for the Greymouth patrol, as the present vehicle had covered 120,000 miles. The new vehicle will cost about £l5OO.
