Elected N.Z. Bowls Official
Mr M. A. Le Cren, of Christchurch, has been elected national vice-president of the New Zealand Bowling Association. Mr Le Cren will be national president when the Dominion bowls tournament is held in Christchurch in 1969. A former president of the ' Christchurch Bowling Centre and the Christchurch Bowling Club, Mr Le Cren has been a national councillor for the last seven years. He became a member of the Canterbury Bowling Centre’s executive in 1952 and at present is chairman of the match committee.
