HAWARDEN FARM
Rid Of 52Z272 Refused “Elvaston,” Mr M. F. Vernon’s farm of 262 acres and 5 perches at Masons Flat, Hawarden, was passed in at £22,272 10s at public auction yesterday. The auction was held by Pyne, Gould, Guinness Ltd. The auctioneer was Mr W. H. Archdall. Buildings include a modern bungalow with three bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Other improvements include an implement, seed, and manure shed combined, a concrete block implement shed, hay barn, and woolshed.
After opening the bidding at £7O an acre Mr Archdall took two blds of £5 and two of £2 10s.
