FIRE IN KITCHEN
The kitchen of a house at 37 Oakland avenue was severely damaged by fire about 5.25 p.m. on Wednesday after a pan of oil on a stove had ignited. One machine from St Albans and one from Harewood answered the call. The propery is occupied by Mr R. C. McKay.
